Exam 1 Answers (Spring 2003)

PART I

3300pf capacitor = 3.3nF

Rab = 3 + (3+3)//3 = 5ohms

Ckt element with 3A flowing into +9V terminal absorbs 27W

8k in series with 16k and 12V source drops 4V across the 8k

10V across 0.5 S(iemen) resistor causes current of -5A from - to + terminal
